Job Description Job Description Brand Ambassador Bobak Sausage Company is growing again. We have a new and exciting permanent part-time opportunity for the right person performing food demonstrations at local retailers. We are looking for a self starter who is outgoing and personable, and willing to travel throughout the Chicagoland Area. The hours may vary from week to week although the work is to be performed on the weekends (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The Responsibilities: Conduct weekend in-store food demonstrations of Bobak Sausage Company’s products Work with store management to secure best position within store to maximize sales Display area setup and breakdown Promote and educate the stores customers on Bobak Sausage products. Provide customers with key product information thus enhancing sales of our products Demonstration Execution – Conduct sampling, engage audience, promote and educate consumers on Bobak product. Clean up equipment and demonstration areas Communicate with and relate to stores customers; and after on-line training, demonstrators must pass quiz relating to food safety sanitation and product handling procedures prior to in store placement Display professionalism in attitude and appearance Maintain outstanding communication with Sales Managers and client relation skills Promote brand awareness through product knowledge and enthusiasm Job Requirements: Experience in event marketing, demonstrations or retail/grocery is highly desirable Must be outgoing and comfortable approaching customers Must be able to be on feet for 8 hours Must be reliable and have transportation to get to and from demonstration sites Must be able to travel throughout Chicago land area Have access to the Internet daily Printing/faxing capabilities Friendly, outgoing personality; confidence to engage the general public Must pass pre-employment background check Neat appearance Disclaimer Statement The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
