The City of Commerce City is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Service Officer. As a CSO, you'll perform a variety of duties in support of the Patrol Division within the Police Department. You'll be responsible for investigating and enforcing municipal codes and ordinances related to animal control and parking violations. You'll also assist with directing traffic at accident scenes and transporting stray animals. Responsibilities Investigate and enforce municipal codes and ordinances related to animal control and parking violations. Assist with directing traffic at accident scenes. Transport stray animals. Communicate effectively and work well under pressure. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED and one year of law enforcement or animal control experience. Animal control and/or enforcement experience is preferred. Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license with a good driving record. Salary Hiring Range is $59,043.84 - $81,739.32 Annually.
