Customer Account Specialist Pharmacy Technician

Location: Hybrid - Corporate Headquarters – Maple Grove, MN

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to join our team at the Corporate Office in Maple Grove, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to grow their career in a professional office environment with hybrid flexibility.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: Monday–Friday (no evenings or weekends)
• Environment: Professional office setting with hybrid options

• Purpose: Support patient care by ensuring accurate billing, account management, and exceptional customer service

Core Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service via phone, email, and internal ticketing systems
• Research, bill, and reconcile claims to insurance companies and responsible parties
• Manage account balances, payments, and refunds
• Ensure accuracy of customer accounts while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
• Learn and apply new technologies and systems including TWRx, PeopleSoft, OnBase, and MNITS

What We’re Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with leadership and teammates
• Excellent customer service mindset with professional follow-through
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Pharmacy Technician or insurance billing experience
