With operations rooted in both the United States and the Netherlands, Amsterdam Heritage has built a meaningful presence in the fashion and accessories market. 

 

Position Overview

This is a paid internship with a compensation of $23 per hour. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will support the Amsterdam Heritage team in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive business decisions. The role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging data to understand e-commerce trends, customer behavior, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure large datasets (e.g., sales data, customer behavior, website analytics)
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools)
• Assist in building predictive or descriptive models to forecast sales, customer churn, or inventory needs
• Present findings to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations) to understand their data needs
• Help define KPIs and metrics for growth, retention, and performance

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation and visualization
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate data insights into business recommendations
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
• Detail-oriented, organized, and curious
