Pay Range: $17.00 $18.50/hour

About the Role

Northern Trust Corporation is seeking a meticulous and reliable Data Entry Operator to join our team for a short-term assignment. This role is essential in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and security of our data systems. You'll be responsible for validating transactions, auditing updates, and ensuring that all data entries are completed by authorized parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain data in company systems, spreadsheets, and databases
• Review data for errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies; make necessary corrections
• Organize and manage electronic and paper records
• Generate reports, summaries, and data sets for management
• Format and produce documents and electronic files
• Respond to data inquiries from internal departments or clients
• Assist with special projects requiring data entry and validation
• Audit completed transactions and submit corrections for outstanding items

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Fast and accurate typing skills (touch-typing ideal)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently
• Understanding of data privacy and security policies
• Excellent communication and administrative support skills

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
