What You’ll Do

As an IT Director, you'll own, lead, and manage SimuTech Group’s technology strategy, infrastructure, security, high performance computing, technical support, and IT operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that technology systems and team members align with business goals, improve operational efficiency, provide excellent customer technical support, and maintain cybersecurity best practice

Strategy and Leadership:

• Develop and execute SimuTech’s long-range IT strategy in alignment with organizational goals and in collaboration with executive leadership
• Manage and forecast IT budgets, ensuring resources are optimized across the business.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of system administrators and IT specialists.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and deliver effective solutions

Operations Management:

• Oversee daily IT operations, including internal systems, technical support, and infrastructure.
• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of tools that drive productivity and user experience.
• Champion the modernization of internal platforms, networking, and high-performance computing resources.

Security and Compliance:

• Own cybersecurity strategy and compliance, including disaster recovery planning.
• Stay ahead of evolving threats and ensure the business meets all regulatory and data protection standards.

What You’ll Bring

• IT Background: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, high performance and cloud computing, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity.
• Strategic Thinking: You will consistently drive SimuTech towards new technology that will improve productivity
• Leadership: You are ready to lead and mentor a high -achieving group of IT professionals

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role providing strategic direction.
• Proven experience leading technology projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent leadership, communication, customer support, and organizational skills.

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with Ansys software, FlexLM, and high-performance computing environments
• Experience with government cybersecurity requirements such as CMMC
• Knowledge of Agile project management

Pay range: $130,000-$180,000 (Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location)
