What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity, documenting incidents according to company and client procedures.
• Maintain awareness of the environment and communicate any concerns to appropriate personnel or law enforcement as needed.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations while interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and/or customers.
• Remain alert and prepared to address security-related incidents or emergencies, following post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of Armed security-related experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for roles in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
