Role Description
This on-site, full-time role of Funeral Director Associate is based in Albuquerque, NM with Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory which includes two locations. The responsibilities include assisting families with planning funeral services, coordinating day-of arrangements, and ensuring that all details reflect the wishes of the family. Tasks involve preparing loved ones for viewing or burial, maintaining funeral home spaces, and providing emotional support and information to those in need. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a meaningful second career in a compassionate and caring environment.
Serving families requires a desire to assist at any time including 24 hours a day/7 days a week. The funeral director associate will assist funeral directors in meeting this need by answering questions after business hours. Since funerals/memorial services are often scheduled at night and weekends, work hours may need to shift to accommodate family needs.
