Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with colleagues, students, and parents regarding student performance and needs. Participate in departmental, grade-level, school, and parent meetings, contributing to a collaborative and supportive educational community. Requirements / Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, mathematics, or a related field from an accredited institution. 3 to 5+ years of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting. Training or experience in Special Education and a strong commitment to inclusive practices. Willingness to attend professional development programs, such as the Orton-Gillingham Educator course and multisensory math training. Proficiency in relevant technology and a willingness to obtain Apple Teacher certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships. Adaptability and a passion for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for all students.
