MIG Welders
📍 Travel Position — Per Diem Included
🕕 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Monday–Friday
We’re looking for experienced MIG Welders to support ongoing fabrication work. Ideal candidates are confident in their welding skills, able to read blueprints, and comfortable in a fast-paced shop environment.
💰 Compensation
- $28/hr
- $125/day Per Diem
- Full-time / 1st shift schedule
✅ Qualifications
- 5+ years MIG welding experience required
- Ability to pass weld test:
- MIG .035 hard wire
- In-position welding
- Blueprint reading
- Machine setup & adjustments
- AWS D1.1 / D1.6 / D1.2 certifications preferred
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong shop math and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with common shop tools (grinders, band saws, calipers, plasma cutter, torch, etc.)
- Ability to identify material types and thicknesses
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs regularly
🔧 Responsibilities
- Weld mild steel , stainless steel , and occasionally aluminum per blueprint requirements
- Inspect finished welds against job specs
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow OSHA/WISHA standards at all times
- Operate forklift (training may be provided)
- Perform additional duties as needed
- Communicate issues with equipment or quality promptly
