Were looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, youll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. Youll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and support daily operations and sales goals.

Responsibilities

1. Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty, utilizing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
2. Assist in store operations, stepping in to lead on the sales floor when needed.
3. Open and close the store as required, ensuring security and readiness.
4. Process sales transactions, promote add-on sales, and manage register operations including shortages or overages.
5. Understand sales targets and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
6. Assist with store layout changes and merchandising.
7. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ.
8. Maintain store security and prevent theft in collaboration with management.
9. Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
10. Support team development and collaboration.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

Starting pay is $11.25 per hour.

Requirements

1. At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture.
2. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
3. High school diploma or GED.
4. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Please note: Final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
