Job Description

The Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League (CRSCBL) is seeking a college or graduate student to serve as a league photography intern for the 2026 summer season.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable and experienced photographing sports. They will have a strong knowledge of baseball and an ability to edit and publish photos quickly on deadlines.

The photography intern should have their own camera/photography equipment and computer that allows them to edit and upload photos to whatever platform they prefer. They will work alongside a team of 2-4 writing and social media interns who will cover games around the league on a nightly basis. Throughout the season, they will work create content to amplify the league’s presence on social media and on the league website.

Qualifications

• College or graduate student
• Ability to work night and weekend events
• Car and valid driver’s license for transportation to games throughout the D.C. area
• Sports photography experience
• Photography equipment (camera, SD cards, computer with editing software, tripod if necessary)
• Experience working under tight deadlines

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Attend games throughout the D.C. metro area on a nightly basis
• Take photos and upload them for use on the league website and social media platform
• Assist with other league events and duties as assigned

This internship position is unpaid, with a small stipend available at the end of the season. Course credit is available for college students. The league is not able to provide housing for interns during the summer.

The position runs from May 31, 2026 through August 5, 2026.
