Job Overview:

The Product Manager serves as the product authority for specific product lines, ensuring that customer needs remain at the forefront of development projects. This role involves collaborating across various departments, particularly engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to create products that stand out and reinforce our brand value propositions. The ideal candidate will utilize solid product marketing principles to inform project prioritization and innovation efforts.

Highlights of Your Role:

Product Manager:

  • Assist in compiling product line data to support strategy creation and roadmap development.
  • Organize market research, customer feedback, and competitor insights for team analysis.
  • Collaborate across teams during product development activities within the Stage-Gate process.
  • Help identify and resolve product quality issues while ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
  • Contribute data for pricing discussions on new product launches in coordination with the Pricing Department.
  • Support marketing initiatives by drafting product messaging that aligns with brand positioning and competitive strengths.

Senior Product Manager:

  • Develop strategic product line roadmaps that promote growth and differentiation.
  • Translate market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis into actionable insights.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the Stage-Gate development process with a focus on delivering customer value.
  • Define pricing strategies for new product launches in collaboration with the Pricing Department.
  • Oversee initiatives to pinpoint, prioritize, and resolve product quality issues in alignment with customer and business goals.
  • Support marketing initiatives with product messaging that reflects competitive advantages and brand positioning.

Your Qualifications:

Product Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field.

Senior Product Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Marketing.
  • An MBA with a marketing focus is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development and portfolio management.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to make swift decisions that balance customer and business needs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work comfortably with market data and research.
  • Familiarity with Stage-Gate or similar product development frameworks for manufactured products.
  • A thoughtful approach to harmonizing customer insights with business objectives.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

Compensation: $89,000 to $130,000 Annually
