Summary Alȳn, Inc. is seeking an experienced candidate to serve as a Senior Penetration Tester. The successful candidate is experienced in both network and web application assessments. The candidate must be comfortable defining, designing, and selecting the appropriate techniques and tools for each operation. A fundamental understanding of network architecture and associated security technologies is essential. The candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate results at the technical level. Responsibilities Plan and execute external and/or internal penetration tests Lead and coordinate complex penetration testing engagements, ensuring project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are met Develop and enforce team standards for reporting, testing methodology, and knowledge sharing, contributing to the overall maturity and scalability of the offensive security program. Conduct open and closed source target research Utilize both automated and manual testing techniques Create tools to meet the needs of the assessment using Python, Go, etc. Detail technical mitigation for all findings Project the potential usefulness of recommended network and security tools which could be used to prevent cyber intrusions Demonstrate and encourage innovative thinking, continuous learning and sharing of best practices Maintain strong working relationship with the client to ensure a high degree of client satisfaction Mentor junior members of the team Required Qualifications Must be a US Citizen 10 years or more of planning and executing penetration tests Experience with the Kali Linux distribution Demonstrated leadership experience in managing or overseeing penetration testing teams or engagements Experience with Burp Suite Experience with the Social Engineering Toolkit Understanding of a variety of current security and networking tools and industry best practices Thorough understanding of Adversary TTPs and ability to emulate them in assessments.
