Position Spanish Interpreter (Independent Contractor) – Rapport International – Omaha, NE. Overview This role calls for a fully bilingual Spanish interpreter to provide in‑person interpretation for our Nebraska clients. Work is flexible, part‑time or based on availability, and you will satisfy a PRN schedule with a minimum availability of Monday‑Friday, 7 AM‑5 PM. Requirements Fully bilingual in Spanish and English Excellent communication and listening skills Familiarity with medical terminology Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance In‑person interpreter only; must have personal transportation to local appointments Technical skills for learning and using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required) Access to a printer Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred Background check and drug screen required Must be available Monday‑Friday 7 AM‑5 PM as needed Notes Independent contractor – hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs. Proof of vaccination required – all candidates must provide immunization documentation prior to interview. Exemptions will be considered under applicable laws.
