Job Summary The Liquor Store Associate role involves: Observing customers and checking identification for age verification. Denying sale of alcohol or tobacco to underage or intoxicated customers. Essential Responsibilities The role is divided into three main areas: Compliance (50%): Observes customers, checks identification, and monitors customers to prevent open containers from leaving the store. Customer Excellence (25%): Provides continuous attention to customers' needs, greets and assists customers, and offers product suggestions. Operational Excellence (25%): Stocks and rotates department products, operates department equipment, and maintains a clean and safe work area. Qualifications Required qualifications include: High School / GED Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Authorization to work in the United States Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check TIPS Training required prior to position start date Preferred qualifications include: High School / GED Diploma English and Spanish language proficiency Environmental Factors The role involves working in a retail environment with various physical demands, including standing, walking, and lifting.
